ENQA, the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, www.enqa.eu disseminates information, experiences and good practices in the field of quality assurance (QA) in higher education to European QA agencies, public authorities and higher education institutions. ENQA initiates and coordinates transnational quality assurance projects, which aim to disseminate information at the European level and promote the establishment of the quality assurance framework of the European Higher Education Area. In 2005 it published Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area
