Education, skills, and mobility are central to building economic resilience across the Commonwealth.
At a recent meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group, held at the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and COL highlighted the important role of universities in preparing learners for a rapidly changing labour market. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to highlight challenges in skills development and employability to UK leaders, as well as some of the shared issues faced by Commonwealth Member States.

Grenada is paving the way for the digital transformation of TVET and is emerging as a strong model for other Small States seeking to future-proof their TVET systems and support national development.
The Grenada National Training Agency (GNTA), together with its Board, the Grenada Council for Technical and Vocational Education (GCTVET), and the Ministry of Education, recently convened more than 40 stakeholders to advance the country’s digital TVET transformation agenda. Representatives from government, industry, NGOs, training providers, and civil society organisations were introduced to the 9Ps, foundational themes critical to the successful transformation of TVET systems.
