Help establish a global understanding of national open educational resource (OER) development by participating in the OER Stakeholder Survey no later than 15 June 2017.
The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) is conducting the survey as part of Regional Consultations on OER taking place in the lead up to the 2nd World OER Congress. The objective of the survey is to understand the level of awareness and involvement of stakeholders in use and adaptation of OER.
The findings from the survey will contribute to a Global OER Report, which will be made available at the 2nd World OER Congress.
The 2nd World OER Congress is scheduled to be held in Ljubljana from 18–20 September 2017, hosted by the Government of Slovenia. This will mark five years since the World OER Congress was held in Paris in 2012.
In the year leading up to the 2nd World OER Congress, COL, in partnership with UNESCO and the Government of Slovenia and with the generous support of The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, is conducting regional consultations.
The consultations follow the theme “OER for Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education: From Commitment to Action”, reflecting a strong focus on the role of OER in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4. They aim to explore strategies and solutions to the challenge of mainstreaming OER. To learn more about the OER Regional Consultations, visit: http://rcoer.col.org/
