Happy 50th Independe

Happy 50th Independence Day, Seychelles!

Seychelles continues to lead the way for small states across the Commonwealth, demonstrating strong progress in higher education, teacher education, and technology-enabled learning.

Through collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Teachers’ Council, and education institutions, Seychelles is advancing institutional TVET policies, supporting OER development, strengthening school system reforms, and improving alignment between national digital policies, teacher development, and classroom practice. The country is also expanding capacity in open and distance learning, digital innovation, and micro-credentials, creating more flexible pathways for lifelong learning.

We look forward to continued collaboration in advancing skills, innovation, and lifelong learning for sustainable national development.
